Common causes of problems with dump truck lift systems
As a dump truck operator, it’s crucial to keep your vehicle in top condition, especially the hoist system.
However, even with proper maintenance, dump truck breakdowns still happen.
If you’re having problems with your dumper system, here are some common causes:
1.The reasons for the difficulty in lifting the tipper truck compartment
①The gear of the power take-off and the oil pump cannot work normally.
②The filter screen or pipeline in the fuel tank is seriously blocked or the oil quantity is insufficient.
③ There are many impurities in the hydraulic oil tank, causing the distribution valve to be stuck.
④Oil pump failure leads to insufficient oil supply.
⑤The lifting switch is stuck, and the oil return valve of the distribution valve is stuck at the oil return position of the oil return valve.
⑥ Insufficient air pressure in the vehicle air storage tank.
2.The reason for the slow lifting of the tipper trucks compartment
①The frictional resistance between the lifting systems is large, and the oil return path is not smooth.
②The limit valve of the lifting cylinder is not tightly sealed, and the sealing ring of the lifting cylinder is not tightly sealed, resulting in insufficient oil pressure.
③The pipeline is seriously blocked or leaked.
④The cargo loaded on the vehicle exceeds the rated load capacity of the vehicle.
3.The reason why the lifting system of the dumper compartment automatically descends
①The sealing ring of the vehicle lifting seal is not tight.
②The distribution valve is not in place.
③There is leakage in the delivery pipeline.
4.The reason why the dumping truck compartment cannot be lowered or stopped at will
①Insufficient air pressure or insufficient oil in the fuel tank.
② There is a problem with the vehicle power take-off and other components.
