Difference between cargo trucks, tractors and dump trucks
Second-hand trucks are currently divided into trucks, tractors and dump trucks in the market. So what is the difference between the three? Why are trucks classified in this way, and I will introduce the differences between the three.
Cargo Truck
As the name suggests, a cargo truck is a vehicle used to load items and then transport them to other places. The vehicles used by general logistics companies are almost all trucks. There is a compartment in the back of the cargo truck. Generally, it is troublesome to disassemble and assemble, so the carriage is an important part of the cargo truck and cannot be disassembled casually. Without a carriage, a cargo truck cannot go on the road alone. There are many types of carriages, which are roughly divided into two types: closed and non-closed, and the cargo capacity is smaller than that of a tractor.
Tractor
It is also used to carry goods, but unlike a cargo truck, the tractor and its compartment are separate and not a single unit. The tractor can choose different sizes of carriages according to its own cargo capacity, that is to say, the tractor can go on the road alone without a carriage. Generally, tractors are more commonly found in docks and ports.
Dump truck
A dump truck literally means a car that can automatically unload goods, that is, the place where it is loaded can be turned up. Due to the condition of the dump truck, the goods generally loaded are not valuables and are not afraid of damage. So tipper dump truck are more common in construction sites and mining areas, and the volume of dump trucks is also smaller than the former two.
Finally, summarize the differences between the three. The rear of the driver’s seat can be moved, that is, the dump truck that can be flipped up, the tractor that can separate the compartment from the front, and the cargo truck that can neither move nor separate the compartment.
