Wear personal protective equipment
Always wear a helmet and safety shoes. When operating or maintaining machinery, wear safety glasses, a face mask, gloves, earplugs, and a safety belt if required for the job. Before use, check whether all protective devices are functioning properly. Don’t push your luck to avoid adding unnecessary risks.

Get on and off the plane correctly
When getting on or off the machine, always face the machine and use the handrails and steps marked with arrows in the picture below. Keep three points (two feet and one hand or two hands and one foot) in contact with handrails and steps (including track shoes) to ensure you are supported.

Start the machine safely
Check the engine coolant level, fuel and oil levels before starting the engine. Check if the air filter is clogged. Make sure the safety locking lever is in the locked position.

Make sure there is no one above, below, and around the machine, and sound the horn as a warning to start the machine.
