Tips for using sprinkler trucks

Tips for using sprinkler trucks: 1. Read the instruction manual carefully before using the sprinkler truck. Strictly following the usage requirements is an important guarantee for the good use of the sprinkler truck.

  1. Requirements for water sources When the sprinkler truck uses rivers and ponds as water sources, be sure that the end of the suction pipe is completely submerged in the water. In order to avoid inhaling stones or large amounts of sediment and debris, the end of the suction pipe is generally equipped with a filter device. It is strictly prohibited to remove the filter device when absorbing water. If the water source is shallow, you need to dig the water-absorbing area deeper in advance to ensure that it does not contain debris and prevents air from entering. The water pumps of different sprinkler trucks have different requirements for water sources. The clean water pump requires that there be no impurities in the water, while the turbid water pump requires that there be no stones and excessive sediment in the water.
  2. Add water. Before each time the centrifugal water pump absorbs water, a certain amount of water must be added to the pump. After the addition is completed, the water inlet must be closed. When the self-priming water pump is used for the first time, it is necessary to add water, but there is no need to add water in the future.
  3. The water inlet pipe must be vacuumed to absorb water. The water inlet pipe system must maintain a certain degree of vacuum in order to suck water into the tank. The water inlet pipe system must be sealed reliably, the hose cannot be damaged, and the hard pipe cannot have cracks, otherwise air leakage will occur, which will result in the inability to absorb water.
  4. Park the sprinkler truck and put it into gear. Whether before absorbing water or before sprinkling water, the power take-off device must be put into gear while parking.
  5. Drain water in winter. Before winter comes, the water in the water pump and water pipes should be drained to prevent freezing and cracking. In northern my country, there is generally no construction in the severe winter. Therefore, after the construction is completed, the water in the water pump and water pipes should be drained immediately to prevent future troubles.
  6. Precautions for sprinkling: The front nozzle of the sprinkler truck is located low, close to the ground, with high spray pressure, and can be used to wash the road surface; the rear nozzle is located higher (the rear nozzles of the sprinkler truck are usually installed with one nozzle on each side), and the sprinkler surface is wide, so it can be used for washing the road surface. When using rear nozzles to sprinkle water on highway construction, the front nozzle should be closed; when using adjustable nozzles to sprinkle water, the sprinkling width can be adjusted as needed. The wider the sprinkling width, the less the overlap in the middle, and the more uniform the sprinkling density.
  7. Lubrication and tightening During use, the lubrication points of the transmission assembly must be regularly lubricated, and the connection points must be tightened frequently to ensure normal use.
  8. The water storage tank of the regular sewage discharge sprinkler truck is equipped with a sewage pipe, and the inlet of the pipe is the low point of the water tank. After a period of use, the drain pipe switch should be opened regularly to remove the debris accumulated in the tank until the water becomes clear.
