3-When digging on the ground, keep the floor angle of the bucket or ripper at about 30° and retract the bucket stick. When the stick is close to vertical, the digging force of the stick is maximum, it can carry more load and is more fuel-efficient.

4-When starting to dig, the working radius should not be too large, that is, do not extend the bucket arm to the maximum working range. Starting around 80% works best. The operating range of the stick is large, and the digging force of the stick is minimal, making it difficult to dig. This is especially important for novices.

5-The smaller the excavation depth, the more economical the excavation is. Try to use segmented excavation. It is divided into three layers of excavation: upper, middle and lower. If one digs from the bottom to the top, not only the operating range will be enlarged and the excavation force will be large, but also the power of the excavator will increase the output torque and reduce the flow output due to the large excavation force, which not only reduces the work efficiency , and it also consumes a lot of fuel.
