Tips for saving fuel on excavators (2)
Tips for saving fuel for excavators — Oil prices have risen, a lot. The boss feels uncomfortable, and so does the driver. There is less work to be done and more oil to be burned, and the boss complains all day long, but the oil is burning oil, and the work needs to be done as usual. Today, I will continue my previous article to summarize tips for saving fuel.
6-The best rotation angle is 30°~45°. During the excavator loading operation, the rotation angle of the excavator must not exceed 60°. The smaller the angle, the faster the rotation, the higher the output, and the less fuel consumption.
7-Try to keep the excavator in a higher position when loading, so that the truck is parked at the same height as the working surface. This principle is very simple. Think about it, which one is more labor-saving: handing something up or handing something on the bench? The same is true for excavators. The more labor-saving it is, the lower its fuel consumption will naturally be.
8-When performing trenching operations, excavate both sides of the trench first, and then the middle part. This saves a lot of trouble when digging in the middle, saving time, effort and fuel.
9-When carrying out continuous excavation, the chassis is placed in the forward direction. You can walk immediately after excavation. If you change it while walking, a lot of oil will be burned after the operation.
10-Place the engine throttle in the economy position. Select the auto-idle function to allow the engine to idle when excavation is stopped.
Experienced drivers may not usually notice these fuel-saving tips. As long as we can develop good operating habits, we can indeed save a lot of gas money over time. In addition, if you want to buy excavators or excavator accessories, you can contact us at any time.
